Rachel Shakofsky, MD
Dr. Shakofsky is a board-certified pediatrician and completed her training in 2010 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She then worked for six years as a Washington University pediatric hospitalist, with emphasis on newborn medicine, emergency care and inpatient pediatric care. She is enthusiastic about her expanded focus of preventative medicine and care of the well child.
“My goal as a pediatrician is to work with you and your family to provide the medical knowledge and support necessary to raise happy, healthy children. While my experiences taking care of newborns and children in the hospital setting have been invaluable, I am excited to focus on outpatient pediatric care and form lasting relationships with children of all ages and their families. As my best pediatric teachers—my three little ones—have taught me, raising children is an incredible challenge and an absolute joy. I feel both privileged and thrilled to share this experience with you!”
